I haven't blogged in literally forever. I always say it's something I need to get better at doing along with the thousand other things I constantly tell myself to do and keep up with, but hey, it's better late than never! So here we have it (only 6 months late), Mr. + Mrs. Nelson!
I have known Alex for quite some time now. We attended the same high school and had numerous mutual friends bringing us to also be friends. We would run into each other here and there over the years, always catching up and having a great time. Through Alex, I obviously met Rob. The two together were a match made. Being around them, you could see the love between them. They complimented each other perfectly! The day had come and Rob proposed to Alex. I was of course, happy for them but I was even happier when Alex contacted me to do their engagement and wedding photos.
Their wedding day took place at the Post Card Inn on St. Petersburg Beach, Florida. It became a typical Florida day when it started to rain while everyone was getting ready, the bride with her hair and make-up beautifully done, the groom making last minute touches to his apparel. Because of the rain, the ceremony was no longer on the beach but under a nice sheltered area, still over-looking the white sandy beaches, still a perfect location for their boho-inspired wedding.
As the time came, Alex was ready to walk down the aisle and meet her husband-to-be. The vows were written on seed paper and were planted as a sign of their commitment. Finally, they said their, "I Do's" and became Mr. + Mrs. Nelson! In the meantime, the rain had stopped (typical Florida weather) but just in time for our family and bridal photos. I love Post Card Inn, not only because it's on the beach, but because they have a lovely garden area with gorgeous greenery and trees which was suitable for the Nelson wedding. The photos were stunning just like the newly weds!
A quick shout out also to some rockstar vendors that contributed to this beautiful day:
